Opening hours of the Study Dept. during the summer holiday (Jul.–Aug.)
Due to the high number of registered applicants there is a change in the location of the written section of the entrance examinations. The written section of the entrance exams will take place at Technická 4, Prague 6.
We invite everybody to the meeting of the proposed candidates with the academic community. The meeting will take place on Wednesday 8 November from 2 p.m. in the Great Lecture Hall (Velká posluchárna).
Devin Kielur, a student of Physiotherapy at Slippery Rock University, spent in the spring an internship at the Second Faculty of Medicine. He writes an essay about his experiences, we publish it together with photographs from a sporting event for multiple sclerosis patients, MaRS 2017.
In connection with the beginning of the examination period, the Dean of the Faculty Prof. Vladimír Komárek appeals for the rigorous supervision of the examinations.

The English General Medicine programme, guaranteed by the Second Faculty of Medicine, has obtained an accreditation from the prestigious Medical Board of California. The programme's recognition makes it easier for the Second Faculty's international students to apply for jobs in the United States of America.

In the winter, we noted a joyous occasion, in which Florian Merkle and Svatava Srutkova, a student of the English branch of General Medicine and a student of the Czech program, became a married couple.
