As a first-year student at the Second Faculty of Medicine, you are required to undergo a compulsory medical check-up and you must be certified as being free from contagious and infectious diseases.
When to arrange this: Ideally before you leave your home country — blood tests and vaccination schedules can take several weeks. If you can't complete it at home, you can arrange it after arrival with the faculty's student GP.

How to Prepare
- Get a referral from your GP. Ask your home GP for a referral covering the general examination and Hepatitis B immunisation status.
- Download and print the Confirmation of Vaccination form (first-year students only). Bring it with you on the day of your medical examination, or before the blood test.
- Have the check-up carried out. The medical report should be completed by a GP in your home country. It should confirm the general examination and your Hepatitis B immunisation status.
- Keep both documents — the completed Confirmation of Vaccination form and the medical report — to bring with you at enrolment.
If You Can't Complete It at Home
If you're unable to arrange the check-up before departure, you can complete it after arrival at the faculty's student GP →. In this case, bring the Confirmation of Vaccination form with you and arrange the appointment as soon as possible after arrival, since blood test results and any remaining vaccination doses can take time.
At Enrolment
Bring your medical check-up confirmation to enrolment along with your other required documents. If you haven't completed the check-up yet, let the Study Department know so they can advise on next steps.
