Scope of Processed Personal Data
The controller will process your personal data to the extent you provided when subscribing to the newsletter. Specifically, the controller will process: your email address. The legal basis for processing the provided personal data is your consent. You are not obliged to provide this data; however, if you do not, we will not be able to send you the newsletter.
Purpose of Personal Data Processing
- Newsletter for Applicants: You will receive email updates about events prepared by the Second Faculty of Medicine for applicants, as well as news about the faculty and studies, no more than once a month.
- Pelikánovi(n)ky: News from faculty life, students, and departments, plus information about upcoming events. Published monthly.
- Alumni Newsletter: Updates and invitations to events.
- Research Support Newsletter: Announcements about selected major grants and deadlines.
Duration of Processing and Withdrawal of Consent
Your personal data will be processed until the end of the admission period (end of June) or until you withdraw your consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to @email or by replying “unsubscribe” to any email we send you. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing based on other legal grounds.
You also have the right to:
- Request information about what personal data is processed about you;
- Request deletion of personal data;
- Request correction of personal data if it is invalid or outdated;
- Request that your personal data not be processed until the legitimacy of the above objections is resolved;
- Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
