Instructions for using the MyQ printer

How to print remotely (from a personal computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone)
  1. Log in to the web application https://printserv.lf2.cuni.cz. Use your details for the university CAS authentication system (numerical username variant). You can also install the MyQ app on your mobile phone.
  2. Upload and send the file to be printed to the web application https://printserv.lf2.cuni.cz. Permitted formats: pdf, bmp, doc, docx, jfif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, mime, odp, ods, odt, png, ppt, pptx, tif, tiff, txt, xls, xlsx.
  3. Set the print properties. You can set colour/black-and-white printing, single-sided/double-sided printing and the number of copies. In the application you can monitor and delete your jobs.
  4. Send the print job from the PC to the printer. Your job will be placed in a queue until you come to the printer and authorise printing by holding your student or staff card against it. Only you can collect your job. Jobs are kept in the queue for 48 hours.
How to print from a flash drive

Insert the flash drive into the USB port on the printer and select the files (in pdf and jpg format) to be printed.

How to scan
  • You can scan either to a flash drive or to the email address set up in CAS. When scanning to email, a file smaller than 8MB arrives as an email attachment; for a larger file, a download link arrives instead.
  • To save a scan, the flash drive's file system must be formatted as FAT32.
How to top up credit
  1. In the application, click the Top Up Credit button. The Top Up Credit dialogue box will appear.
  2. Choose WebPay as the payment method, enter the amount by which you wish to increase your credit (minimum CZK 10), then click the Top Up Credit button.
  3. You will be redirected to the KB payment gateway, where you should follow the instructions.
  4. Once the payment has been made and sent to MyQ, the message "Payment successful" will be displayed.
