Outgoing PhD Students

Short-Term Erasmus+ Mobility

PhD students may undertake, in addition to standard Erasmus stays of more than 60 days, short-term physical mobility periods lasting 5–30 days. These placements, which students arrange independently in advance, may take place either at a partner university of the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University or at another relevant professional institution.

Mobility opportunities are available in the following countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, France, Italy, Cyprus, Malta, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Austria, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, North Macedonia, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Ideally, at least two months before the planned mobility, please submit:

  1. A completed application form, including the supervisor’s approval and a description of the planned placement activities (see attached form).
  2. Preliminary confirmation of acceptance from the host institution (e-mail, letter of acceptance, or similar).
