Sandro Vadovič won the second year of the Robotics Olympics. He took advantage of the opportunity offered by the Second Faculty of Medicine and already in the 3rd year of his studies he obtained an internationally valid robotic assistant certificate.

Dr. Zuzana Střížová, prof. Jiřina Barůňková, Mgr. Jitka Smetanová and Dr. Linda Čapková are among the authors of a publication in the field of salivary gland cancer, awarded by the Czech Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.

RNDr. Aneta Skotnicová, a PhD student from the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology of the Second Faculty of Medicine and Motol University Hospitaly, won 2nd place in the prestigious Albert Schweitzer scientific competition. The prize is awarded by the French Embassy in Prague.

Jitka Palich Fučíková received a decree of appointment from president Petr Pavel. Professor Palich Fučíková focuses her research career on tumor immunology and the immunology of cancer diseases.
