The Children’s Heart Centre of the Second Faculty of Medicine of Charles University and Motol University Hospital is an integrated cardiology and cardiac surgery facility with nationwide coverage, primarily engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired diseases of the heart and large blood vessels, heart rhythm disorders, heart function disorders, and blood circulation disorders in growing and developing individuals from the fetal period to 18 years of age. It also participates in the diagnosis and treatment of adults with congenital heart defects.
