On 19 May, the Second Faculty hosted the nationwide Albert Schweitzer Prize competition, organised by the French Embassy. Dr. Martina Pařízková from the Department of Neurology won second place.
On 19 May, the Second Faculty hosted the nationwide Albert Schweitzer Prize competition, organised by the French Embassy. Dr. Martina Pařízková from the Department of Neurology won second place.
Dr. Jitka Palich Fučíková (Department of Immunology, Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and Motol University Hospital) deals with the issue of immunogenic cell death and its role in the immunotherapeutic treatment of cancer. For her research, she won the prestigious award For Women in Science, awarded under the L'Oréal-UNESCO project, on June 4th.
CYTO 2018, the 33rd Congress of the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC) and the largest scientific conference dedicated to cytometry, took place in the Prague Congress Centre, April 28 to May 2.
