On 19 May, the Second Faculty hosted the nationwide Albert Schweitzer Prize competition, organised by the French Embassy. Dr. Martina Pařízková from the Department of Neurology won second place.
CYTO 2018, the 33rd Congress of the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC) and the largest scientific conference dedicated to cytometry, took place in the Prague Congress Centre, April 28 to May 2.
Rector of Charles University Tomáš Zima passed the appointment decree for the next term 2018–2022 to the Dean of the Second Faculty of Medicine Vladimír Komárek.
