On 16 November 2017, the Dean passed the annual Adams Prizes. The Ervín Adam Prize was given to Dr. Petra Laššuthová and the Vlasta Adamová Prize to Dr. Michaela Nováková. See photographs.
Prof. Vladimír Komárek became the candidate whom the Academic Senate of the Second Faculty of Medicine nominated for the position of the dean for the following election period from 2018 to 2022.
According to the U.S. News Best Global Universities Ranking 2018, Charles University has been ranked the best university in the Czech Republic, placed 196 out of 1250 evaluated universities, 85 in Europe.
From Monday 23 October, full-scale teaching will begin in the newly renovated lecture halls in the hospital complex. The Faculty management once again apologizes for the inconvenience.
Updated. Due to the fact that the lecture halls in Motol University Hospital remains closed, classes will be taught in alternative facilities even during the week from 16 to 20 October. Please pay attention to the actual placement of the lectures.
We invite everybody to the meeting of the proposed candidates with the academic community. The meeting will take place on Wednesday 8 November from 2 p.m. in the Great Lecture Hall (Velká posluchárna).
