We would like to announce that the Charles' University Academic Senate Elections will take place at the same time as the Second Faculty Academic Senate Elections which will be held at the Second Faculty Academic Senate.
We believe it will save time and help to increase voter participation in the Academic Senate Elections to both Charles University and the Second Faculty of Medicine respectively.
* The 1st round will take place on 31 October and 1 November 2016. Here, votes will be cast electronically, for the student and the new teacher councils, respectively.
* The 2nd round will take place on 28 and 29 November 2016.
Round 1 – Electronic voting 31 October and 1 November 2016
In the first round student and teacher council votes will be cast electronically. (Votes will be verified by a password on the faculty website. Please familiarize yourself with the procedure described in the article ‘Register to vote electronically in the 2nd Medical Faculty Academic Senate Elections’.)
After logging in, you will find options to nominate candidates for both the Second Faculty and Charles University Academic Senate elections.
Round 2 – Voting in person 28 and 29 November 2016
Each student and teacher council voter will cast their vote at the polling station in person. After they sign the electoral register, the vote will be dropped into the ballot box.
Polling locations will be open both days from 7.30 to 15.00.

Second Faculty of Medicine occupies in the Academic Senate a total of four points, two representatives in the student section and two members of the teaching. The Senate has 70 members.
The Second Faculty of Medicine occupies 4 seats at the Academic Senate: two from the student council; two from the teacher council. The senate has 70 members total.
