Abstracts have been submitted and evaluated by the Scientific Committee, awards set, guests and speakers invited, afterparty and sport events organized – so the Conference may begin. It will – on Wednesday 22 April.
The programme includes presentations of prae- and postgraduate students of 2nd Faculty of Medicine. The number of participants is record-breaking this years, the scientific committee had to choose out of 91 applicants! You will hear lectures in neurology, internal medicine, haematology, invasive fields of medicine and genetics. Newly, there will be four poster sections instead of previous two. We asked the authors who submitted their abstract in English to present their poster/lecture in English.
The speakers are mostly those who lecture at our faculty and who have recently received their associate professorship.
The Conference will host the renown psychiatrist prof. Cyril Höschl who will present a surely spectacular lecture show on science and arts and dr. Josef Fulka, a cloning specialist and one of the most famous Czech biomedical scientists.
The programme will be seasoned with author reading of Mr. Jaroslav Rudiš, an outstanding young Czech novelist.
What else can the audience expect? For the first time you will have the opportunity to test your attention during the lecture sessions and win an iPod in a quiz. Those unsuccessful will be able to exchange the tokens received at Conference sections for refreshment during the traditional Afterparty at Dr. Voják Club – you will hear classics of Motol rock (Funktomass, Peřinovi motolští ďáblové – Školení sester, Bílá nemoc etc.).
Passionate runners are welcome to attend the Motol Mile running competition that will take place on Thursday after the official programme.
