The Faculty Management Informs About Measures for Teaching in Connection With the Attack at the Faculty of Arts

Dear students, dear employees of the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University,

We are all somehow trying to cope in our minds with the consequences of the attack on the Faculty of Arts, but we also need to think about the next days and how to return to our daily duties. As the management of the faculty, we are aware of the potential impact on the psyche of students and teachers, we will try to reflect this. Likewise, in conjunction with the university management, we are monitoring the security situation and considering the next course of action.

We have taken the following measures:

1. From 2 January 2024, classes will take place in the usual way and without restrictions.
2. We ask all teachers to be responsive to students, or their needs related to adaptation to the situation
3. We remind you of the possibility of psychological support from experts at the UK (see the Charles University website).
4. We are in contact with the crisis staff of the UK and with the Ministry of Education. We will keep you informed about implemented and planned security measures.

Of course, do not hesitate to contact the faculty management in case of any problems.
