ADIT 2016 Best Abstract Award – a significant appreciation of the scientific project of physicians from the diabetes group, at Internal Clinic, Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and Faculty Hospital Motol, Prague
The Center for Palliative Care invites to a lecture by a world expert on geriatrics and palliative medicine, Professor Sean Morrison. It will take place on 2 June in the Blue Lecture Hall, Karolinum, 4 pm.
Representatives of the Second Faculty welcomed applicants for study in Porto. The entrance exams took place on 21 May 2016. We thank everybody for their interest in studying at the Second Faculty of Medicine and are looking forward to new wonderful students!

The Second Faculty has a new logo and visual style. On Wednesday 20 April also the Faculty website changed into the new style. The new logo was unveiled by Dean Vladimír Komárek during the opening of the Scientific Conference, and if you would like to learn more, visit Faculty Night in ‘Žížala’ (Plzeňská Campus) on Thursday 21 April after 9 pm: Martina Vitáková, a graphic designer and the co-author of the logo and style, will have a talk (in Czech) about how they originated.
