time-slot registration and conditions
The blood donations will take place at the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in cooperation with Motol University Hospital and the Department of Haematology and Blood Transfusion of the University Hospital (OHKT ÚVN). The collected blood will be used for patients of Motol University Hospital after processing.
Historically, the Motol Hospital has not had a blood collection facility and therefore has to purchase all transfusion products and is therefore completely dependent on other blood collection centres. This, of course, brings with it many pitfalls. Particularly problematic are periods when there is a great shortage of donors, such as holiday seasons, viral epidemics, etc..
