Conference: Nanotechnologies: as mainstream in research and education

Department of Biophysics invites to the mini-conference Nanotechnologies: as mainstream in research and education as a part of Summer School II.

This is an international lectureship with the Italian side with the University of Sassari. Represented by prof. Amler. The summer school will be in a hybrid format of online and face-to-face.

The mini-conference will be held on March 26, 2024 in room C330, building C, Plzeňská.

Nanotechnologies play a pivotal role in modern personalized medicine. Since  the size of proteins and nucleic acids are on the nanometer scale. Understanding phenomena and the domination of physical roles on a nanometer  scale is, thus, necessary for medical research and education. The lecture  will deal with differences on a macro scale and nanoscale and also with  applications of nanotechnology approaches such as medical devices, sensitive detection, and nanotheragnostics.
