A doctoral student from the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology - CLIP Group won first prize at an international postgraduate conference in Hradec Králové, which took place on 25 and 26 November 2021.
On 4 November, the physician and teacher of the Department of Infectious Diseases and chairman of the Faculty Academic Senate won the President's Award of the Czech Medical Chamber for his contribution to lifelong education of physicians.
The Academic Senate of the Second Faculty of Medicine elected Professor Marek Babjuk as Dean of the Second Faculty of Medicine. The four year term begins on 1 February 2022.

On 15 October 2021, the proposal round for the election of a candidate for the Dean of the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University ended. The Electoral Committee received two proposals by that date. Congratulations to the nominees!
