Prague, 27 May 2025 | Today at 1 p.m., a ceremonial tapping of the foundation stone of the Motol Campus of the Second Faculty of Medicine of Charles University took place on the grounds of Motol University Hospital. The event symbolically launched the construction of a modern educational and research centre that will link theoretical teaching with clinical practice.
The foundation stone was laid by the Dean of the faculty Prof. Marek Babjuk, the Vice Dean for Development Prof. Pavel Kolář, the Rector of Charles University Prof. Milena Králíčková and representatives of the Government, Minister of Health Vlastimil Válek, Minister of Education Mikuláš Bek and Minister of Science, Research and Innovation Marek Ženíšek.
