Research Fellow – Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The CLIP (Childhood Leukemia Investigation Prague) working group is looking for candidates with a PhD degree for a postdoc position. We are looking for motivated scientists with a good work ethic, creative thinking and a passion for the subject. Specialization in biochemistry and cell biology is an advantage. The project focuses on the study of the metabolic program of leukemia cells. Tumor metabolism is a very topical issue in the study of differential sensitivity of patients to therapy, drug efficacy and the development of resistance to conventional therapies. Studies conducted at our department use various models (in vitro, in vivo), genetic engineering, and the latest detection methods in metabolomics and fluxomics. The project is implemented in close cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and with researchers from abroad. Requirements:

  • doctorate in Natural Sciences
  • expertise in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology
  • experience working with cell culture and cytometric methods is an advantage
  • team player within our research group and with collaborators
  • advanced communication and writing skills in English
