Information for Students Coming to the Czech Republic

Please check the information about coronavirus at the Ministry of Health website.

You can see that countries are divided into groups according to the level of risk. The colour indicates the level of risk and also tells you what measures you have to follow after your arrival in the CR.

The most important thing is: before your departure from your home country, you have to fill in the following online form - https://plf.uzis.cz. This duty applies to all people arriving in the CR. We recommend to print out the form and have it ready when crossing the border.  Mainly at the Prague airport.

  • When you have had Covid-19 in the last 180 days or are vaccinated (14 days after the second dose) and have a certificate to prove that, you don’t have any other obligations.
  • When you are not vaccinated or haven’t been Covid-19 positive in the last 180 days, you have to undergo the test after your arrival, or even to stay in isolation for several days. Details vary according to the colour of the country you are arriving from. For exact instructions see https://www.koronavirus.mzcr.cz/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Rules_for_entry_and_return_to_the_Czechia_for_CZ_citizens_and_residents_as_of_August_23rd_2021-scaled.jpg

The countries are also listed in a pdf document: https://www.koronavirus.mzcr.cz/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Sdeleni-Ministerstva-zdravotnictvi-kterym-se-vydava-seznam-zemi-s-rizikem-nakazy-covid-19-s-ucinnosti-od-30-8-2021.pdf. Unfortunately, the English version of this document is not available.
