Sing in The Charles University Chorus!

The Charles University Chorus is a group of students and young alumni from various faculties of Charles University, which works under the professional lead of the main conductor Haig Utidjian. The chorus sings for pleasure of academia, as well as for wild society and for enjoyment! The unique attribute is that it represents Alma Mater in various ceremonial occasions. Between recent events belongs a concert in the Muncipal House for rectors of European universities. Currently the choir prepares for an appearance in Vladislav's Hall in Prague Castle for pope Benedict XVI.

If you have a desire to sing in The Charles University Chorus then don’t hesitate to visit us. You can meet students of all faculties, English parallels and Erasmus students in the chorus!

The invitation to the first rehearsal is here.

The chorus trains usually every Wednesday between 17 and 19 hours in Charvátův sál at the 3rd Internal Clinic of the First Medical Faculty (second building under the Institute of Anatomy). Occasionally rehearsals are held at weekends. The first rehearsal in the new season takes place 30. 9. 2009.
