The Bavarian-Czech Academic Agency (BTHA) offers students, teachers and researchers grants for German language courses and professional summer schools in Bavaria.
The grant covers the full tuition fees incurred by Czech university students and researchers in language and specialized courses at state and state-supported universities and colleges in Bavaria. In justified cases (if not included in the course fees), a subsidy of up to EUR 400 can be granted for accommodation costs.
The application for the chosen professional or language course is sent by the participant directly to the university of their choice. When applying for a grant for a German course, language knowledge of at least B1 is required. In 2022, part of the grants can also be used for virtual events and cooperation.
Applications will be accepted by the BTHA until 31 March 2022 by post or email at @email.
