How to apply for Entrance exam
There are two terms of Entrance Exam. Duly completed application form with all the required documents must be sent before the deadlines stated below. Only those participants registered before deadline will be appointed to the Entrance exam. The application form is available at the Faculty web sites.

Course of Entrance exam
The Entrance exam will take place only in the fixed days (see the table above) at the Charles University, 2nd Faculty of medicine in Prague. This exam has two parts, the written test in biology, physic, chemistry and logical decision, and an interview.
First, the applicants shall take the written test in biology, physics, chemistry and logical decision (4 x 15 questions) covering a secondary school curriculum. Each question has one or more correct answers. The examples of questions are available at our web sites. The time to complete the test is 75 min. Each correct answer is assigned with 4 points. The evaluation of competed written tests is anonymous and processed by computer.
Further, the applicants with the best written test should prove, in the interview, their interest in the chosen field, ability to reason and they should be able to defend their own opinion. The applicants will draw at random two questions and they may get in total as many as 60 points.
The total score (the sum of points for written test and the interview) obtained during entrance exam is only decisive factor to be admitted for medical studies. The final results are announced at the close of Entrance exam on the same day.

Please remember, we are not able to arrange an accommodation for the applicants coming for the Entrance exam. For your information, here is the list of hotels located close to the 2nd Faculty of Medicine.
