Irvin Venyš

is widely regarded as one of the most distinguished artists of the emerging Czech generation. He has received numerous awards in internationally acclaimed competitions, including the Prague Spring, Pacem in Terris Bayreuth, EBU New Talent, as well as prestigious events in Paris, Zurich, and Madeira. His artistic range is remarkably broad, spanning the classical clarinet repertoire, demanding works of the 20th and 21st centuries — including both Czech and world premieres — and interpretations of folk music. Venyš collaborates with leading international soloists and conductors, among them Heinz-Jörg Schellenberger, Radovan Vlatkovič, Zakhar Bron, Peter Czaba, Igor Ardašev, Libor Pešek, Ralph Gothoni, Elina Vahala, Michel Lethiec, Hagai Shaham, Andre Cazalet, and Jean-Louis Capezzali.
