Teaching

The Department of Public Health gives instructions in courses such as Public Health, Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Medicine, Hygiene and Epidemiology, Protection and Promotion of Public Health and others. Its teaching emphasizes principles of epidemiology and evidence-based medicine, and the study of health determinants, disease prevention, and health promotion. The department also addresses the organization and management of healthcare systems, legal and economic aspects of healthcare, and sustainability. Students are trained to consider environmental, social, and behavioral factors in public health, and to respond to real-world challenges such as crisis management, quality and safety, and digital transformation.
