How to request a modification to the admission procedure for the applicants with special needs
When you submit your application to study at the Second Faculty of Medicine of Charles University and have special needs you can ask for a modification of the entrance exams. The most common modifications involve additional time for completing the entrance exams, larger print exam papers, providing of various aids and technologies, etc. – always adjusted to your needs. Requesting a modification does not influence the evaluation of your knowledge or your chances of admission.
If you think you might benefit from a modification of the entrance exam, please follow the steps below.
- Tick the box Request for a modification of the admission procedure in your electronic application form and choose the type of your health limitation.
- Upload the scanned document proving your health disadvantage into your electronic application form (i.e. a medical certificate, a recommendation from the pedagogical and psychological counselling centre, etc. It is necessary to have the recommended additional time in percentage specifically stated in the enclosed report).
The request for a modification of the entrance exams must be submitted at the latest by the deadline for submitting the applications.
