Introduction

Departmental Focus:
 
The department ensures anatomy courses for students in the MD and Bsc. programmes. Teaching focuses on systematic and regional anatomy, the functional anatomy of the central nervous system and on basic radiological anatomy. The department also participates in the  teaching of neuroscience. Research activities focus on experimental neuroanatomy, the study of the functional anatomy of the central auditory system, experimental epilepsy and morphology of the vertebral canal.
