Syllabus of Paediatrics

Teaching of paediatrics is run in blocks on all wards of Paediatric Department and Department of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology:
 
Students may check which meeting room/ward is assigned to their class one week ahead on:

  • faculty website - information and news - program of teaching at Paediatric Dept
  • faculty website - study - time schedules - click on respective subject and study group
  • on a noticeboard on the ground floor G (in front of the auditorium)
  • on noticeboards in the ground floor corridor leading to the auditorium

Attendance is checked by a system of attendance tracking cards.
20% absence is tolerated (including sick leave, medical appointment or other personal reasons).
 
The module of paediatrics in 5th year is completed by obtaining credit. Dates of credits are known for the whole semester; students are requested to sign up electronically.
 
Following conditions must be completed to get credit: passing a test (time limit 40 minutes, minimum score for passing - 75 % of correct answers), attendance of seminars and practicals and filling out the students' survey.
 
Please leave your indexy with the attendance card in the secretary office. The secretary will check test results, attendance and participation on students' survey, and will ensure credits are signed. Signed indexy will be in the secretary office available for collection from the next day on (building E - nurse residence, floor 4).
