At the end of April (from Wednesday 24 to Friday 26) sports teams from the French Technical School Efrei Paris visited Prague in order to challenge the students of the Second Faculty of Medicine to a friendly hockey match. They also competed in basketball, volleyball, and football matches. The French school originally contacted the faculty hockey team the Motol Pelicans, they decided to compete in other disciplines. The French student group thus grew and embarked with two buses full of fans and participants and spent a very active week in Prague.

For the newly founded basketball team led by Radka Šedivá and the football team led by Haris Hadžić, it was the first successful opportunity to represent the faculty: Our basketball team won decisively 70:43 and the footballers won their match in shootouts 3:2. The volleyball team, led by Dr Čechovský, was assisted by friends from the Third Faculty of Medicine and won the match in sets 4:0. Once again, at the hockey game, cheerleaders and an excellent crowd urged on out Pelicans to win against the French Eagles 10:5.
