Fluid, electrolytes and acid-base balance and their disorders - practical examples.
 
Inflammatory bowel disease, colonoscopic diagnostic and treatment.
 
Chronic diabetic complications - neuropathy, nephropathy, foot ulcers, macrovascular disease.
 
Chronic renal failure, causes of it´s progression. Renal osteodystrophy.
 
Elimination methods.
 
Sepsis, septic shock, multiorgan failure.
 
Colon cancer, principles of screening. Polypetomia.
 
Bile duct and pancreatic tumors, principles of diagnostics.
Presentation of ERCP records.
 
Treatment of liver cirrhosis. Case report presentation.
 
Principles of parenteral and enteral nutrition within the course of serious malnutrition (anorexia nervosa, chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, short-bowel syndrome). Out-patient parenteral nutrition.
